Black Adam Star Noah Centineo Exits Masters of The Universe Reboot

It looks like the live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe just hit a major roadblock. A new report reveals that Black Adam star Noah Centineo will no longer be playing He-Man in the highly anticipated project.

It's no secret that Centineo was cast as Prince Adam, the strongest man in the universe. However, Collider reports that the To All The Boys I've Loved Before star is no longer appearing in the Sony Pictures project.

"He is no longer attached to that project," a representative for Centineo told the outlet. Interestingly, there was no reason for the actor's departure from Masters of the Universe.

This is sad news for fans who were already expecting Masters of the Universe to start production soon. After all, the project was announced two years ago and it already had its lead star. Unfortunately, it looks like the movie will have to look for a new He-Man before moving forward.

Masters of the Universe is set to be a new live-action adaptation of the media franchise. The project will follow He-Man aka Prince Adam as he protects the realm of Eternia and the secrets of the Castle Grayskull from the evil Skeletor.

For now, Aaron and Adam Nee are still signed to write and direct the movie. However, a replacement for Centineo has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

In the meantime, Centineo is already working on Black Adam, which will also star Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan. The DC Extended Universe movie is scheduled for release on July 29, 2022.
