Birds of Prey Is Set To Wrap Production In April

After the watery success of James Wan's Aquaman, DC fans are now looking forward to more films from the DC Extended Universe, and it looks like Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is gearing up for its 2020 release.

According to a new report by HN Entertainment,Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is expected to complete principal photography in April, giving the film a lot of time to complete post-production and its reshoots.

This is pretty big news for DC fans. Birds of Prey will be the DCEU's first all-girl team-up movie, one that would see the return of Margot Robbie, the franchise's Harley Quinn. Quinn first debuted in Suicide Squad, a comic book movie that was criticized for its convoluted storyline and for its unnecessary music. Despite the underwhelming film reviews, the film was a financial success. Robbie was considered one of the standouts in the film, and many are eager to see her return in Birds of Prey.

But that's not the only film that Robbie's going to get. Harley is also set for her own standalone movie in the DCEU along with a Harley Quinn vs the Joker movie that will focus on the character's twisted relationship with Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime played by Jared Leto. She's also set to appear in a Gotham City Sirens film together with Catwoman and Poison Ivy.

It's going to be a busy set of years for Robbie, but we're sure she's going to do a stellar job.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is set for release February 7, 2020.
