Billie Lourd Breaks The Silence After the Death of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds

Hollywood celebrity Billie Lourd hasn't spoken that much to her fans since the recent passing of her mother and grandmother; Star Wars icon and writer, Carrie Fisher, and1950's Hollywood megastar, Debbie Reynolds. While she did take time to thank friends and fans for the support in the family's troubling times, the Scream Queens actress has kept mum on social media. Until today that is.

Taking to her Instagram page, the 24-year old Lourd decided to share a throwback photo of featuring her and her mother, Carrie sitting in the back of a car leaning close. Carrie props her head on top of Lourd , who in the picture is a toddler wrapped up in what seems to be a cute bunny outfit. It's a light but tender moment, and in its caption the young Hollywood celebrity shares how she's trying to be strong in light of recent events.

"'If my life weren't funny then it would just be true and that is unacceptable,'" she wrote on her post, quoting from her mother's book.

Best known for her iconic role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars Original Trilogy and for her work as a writer, Fisher died after experiencing a heart attack back in December 27, 2016. Reynolds followed the next day, passing away from a stroke.

Though Lourd seems to be trying to see the lighter side of her loved ones passing, it still must be very hard for Lourd to deal with the loss of both women. Our comfort and condolences go out to Lourd and her family.
