Bill & Ted Face the Music Has Wrapped Filming

It is announced earlier last month that production had started for the long-awaited Bill & Ted 3, and the official Twitter account has just announced that the movie was done filming.

This was the announcement:

We don't have any official promo images for the film yet, but with production finally done, we should probably expect the first look soon. While I'm not expecting a full trailer until next year, we should at least get some first images.

Besides the return of Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, the movie also includes Samara Weaving playing Bill's daughter Thea and Brigette Lundy-Paine playing Ted's daughter Billie. I guess it's kind of funny that the two ended up naming their daughters after each other (Thea can be derived from "Theodore").

The movie has also cast William Sadler to reprise the role of Death, plus some other celebrities for what I assume are brief cameos.

Personally, I don't really know whether to be excited or worried about the film. Though a lot of people are happy to see Bill and Ted back, it's very possible that the movie may have "come out too late"—such were the cases of Zoolander 2 and Dumb and Dumber To. Let's just hope that director Dean Parisot managed to update the humor of the film so as not to only please fans of the original, but newcomers to the franchise as well.

Once told they'd save the universe during a time-traveling adventure, 2 would-be rockers from San Dimas, California find themselves as middle-aged dads still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny.
