Keanu Reeves has been revisiting franchises with John Wick and the upcoming Matrix 4, but next year will see him reprise one of his more comedic roles with Bill & Ted Face the Music. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have some images of Reeves and co-star Alex Winter, plus some other cast members as well.

William Sadler will be reprising the role of Death from Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and we'll also be meeting the pair's kids; Bill's daughter Thea (Samara Weaving), and Ted's daughter Billie (Brigette Lundy-Paine). It's described that the daughters "love their dads' music and want to help them."
Musician Kid Cudi is also playing himself in the movie, but I would actually love to see some historical musicians make their way to this film. Do you think it would be too hard to get Rami Malek to reprise Freddie Mercury for the movie?
Writer Chris Matheson had this to say about the story:
"They were told when they were teenagers that they were going to save reality, and they've been working on it the whole time… Now an emissary from the future comes and says, ‘You've got to do it right now. We've got literally 80 minutes or all of reality will come to an end.'"
For now, everyone is remaining cautiously optimistic about the film. We know that some other movies are "too late" when they come out, but hopefully, the writers have found a way to keep Face the Music interesting for fans of the original, but relevant to new audiences as well.
