Star Tony Dalton teases that the Better Call Saul Season 6 Part 1 finale ends on a dramatic cliffhanger. The sixth and final season of AMC's Breaking Bad prequel will be split into two parts for the first time in its history.

Dalton teased what's to come in the Better Call Saul Season 6 Part 1 finale in an interview with Newsweek. The Lalo actor teased that the show would end with a dramatic cliffhanger that would "leave everybody with their mouths open."

Dalton also revealed his own personal reaction to reading the Better Call Saul Season 6 Part 1 finale script, which according to the actor, made him literally jump up and down.

“I will tell you something, at the end of the first part of this last season, like you said, is a shocker. It's a huge shocker,” Dalton said. “I mean, the way it ends from, I guess it's episode eight or seven, to what's going to happen in the second part it's going to leave everybody with their mouths open, for sure.”

Better Call Saul Season 6 picks up where Season 5 left off, with Giancarlo Esposito's Gus Fring making amends for his unsuccessful assassination attempt on Lalo Salamanca (Dalton) by having Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) take the fall.

Gus builds a massive monitoring network in Albuquerque with the help of his head of security, Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) while waiting for Lalo's return. Meanwhile, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) and his wife Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) carry out their plot to topple Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian).

With Dalton hyping the Better Call Saul Season 6 Part 1 finale, the pressure is on Better Call Saul to create a shocking cliffhanger that meets fans' expectations. As a result, the cliffhanger has the potential to disappoint.

Better Call Saul Season 6 debuted on Apr. 18 and will end on May 23. Season 6 will start broadcasting on July 11 after a hiatus of over a month.
