Berserk 1997 is Coming to Netflix Next Month

Berserk 1997 is finally coming to Netflix! The streaming giant has just signed a new deal with Nippon TV which guarantees that there will be several titles available on the streaming platform soon.

A joint press release confirms that Nippon TV, Japan's leading multiplatform entertainment powerhouse, has partnered once again with Netflix, the world's leading streaming service (via Anime News Network). The partnership will have the Japanese company license 13 of its most popular anime titles to stream on the platform worldwide.

The news is huge for Berserk fans who have only seen the Golden Era arc films and the 2016 anime series. The 1997 anime adapts the early chapters of Kentaro Miura's manga and follows Guts and Griffith before the former lost his arm and eye (that's all we're going to spoil at this point).
