One of the most favorite variants of the God of Mischief became an online sensation, Alligator Loki, and he easily became a beloved character after his first appearance wearing that teeny tiny gold set of horns. The behind the scenes of the series, however, showed that he has a design with a costume but it was later scrapped and we all saw him in his real skin.

Marvel's Assembled: The Making of Loki showed the behind-the-scenes of the series and the full documentary laid out what happened in the creation of the amazing canon show including some commentaries from the people who were responsible for the making of it plus some words from the actors.

Assembled had the people behind the scenes of Loki led by director Kate Herron who revealed that she sent a note to the VFX team saying that they want to have a handsome alligator in the show; she even emphasized they wanted beautiful eyes for that character. She laughed it off but having Alligator Loki paid off as he easily became one of the most favorite characters in the show.

They also showed a version of Alligator Loki wearing a full costume like the one Loki used to wear when he was in Asgard. They shared how they studied even the physics of the movements of a real alligator and put some Loki vibes on it with the cheeky grin to pull off the character being in the series. A support alligator was made as a reference, and his name was Wally.

The visual development supervisor of Loki, Rodney Fuentebella, designed the character and he shared how proud he was as his designs for Alligator Loki were shown in the documentary. He said on Instagram, "Saw this on the @disneyplus Marvel Studios Assembled special on Loki. The concept pieces I did of the alligator Loki was shown there. Pretty cool. It was a fun and crazy cool project to work on. Thanks, @ryan_meinerding_art for the chance to work on this!"

What could've been your reaction if you saw Alligator Loki donning a full suit? That would be amazing, right? We would've all loved him either way!

Marvel's Assembled: The Making of Loki is now streaming on Disney+.
