It looks like the live-action remake of the Disney animated classic film Beauty and the Beast has beat Star Wars: Force Awakens. Well, at least in terms of teaser trailers.
Disney just released data for the teaser trailer the Beauty and the Beast live-action version and it received a record of 91.8 million times views during the first 24 hours of its release. It topped the second teaser trailer for Force Awakens,which raked in 88 million views. That's not the only numbers that the film topped.
The trailer also bested the number of views for Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Age of Ultron, which garnered 55 million views and 34 million views for their second teasers, respectively.
The live-action Beauty and the Beast teaser trailer aired on ABC's Good Morning America Monday morning prior to its release online.

It retells the story of Disney's 1991 animated classic movie that captured the hearts of fans.
It looks like fans both young and old don't need much convincing to watch this remake. I think Emma Watson cast as the Belle plays a big role attracting a wide range of audiences.
CEO Bob Iger revealed a footage from Beauty and the Beast in early March at the Disney Shareholders Meeting, with the description of that footage appearin to show more of Belle and her dress in the latest trailer. We'll likely see more of the British actress in the first official trailer of the movie probably in a couple more weeks. Earlier this month, actor Josh Gad explained why the movie is a musical.
