Batman Arkham Underworld Gets Bane With New Mega Update

One of Batman's most iconic Batman villains will be coming to Batman Arkham Underworld. Now fans will get a feel of what it's like to become the pumped-up Bane.

The newest update for the title is dropping Bane, and he's more than just the protein-pumped blockhead that other Batman movies portrayed him to be. This time, he'll be a master strategist and brutal combatant, which makes him a pretty deadly combination.

"Bane is locked in the Blackgate Prison. You've got a plan to break him out and recruit him. To begin unlocking Bane you must be Gang Level 17. You will need to complete a series of missions, with the last one being a Gang Level 20 mission. You will need to help Bane by creating his Venom Device. These devices are required to unlock some of the missions. Each time you craft a WayneTech device, Milo has a chance to further research into completion of the Venom Device."

Detailed over the official Batman Arkham Underworld forums, the developer detailed other aspects added to the game with the new update.

Specifically, there's the WayneTech lockboxes, which can be purchased to obtain several devices inside. Some of the contents can help players in achieving the right blend to get Bane's Venom device. As a bonus for logging into the game, players can also get a free lootbox.

The latest update also ushers in some new mods for WayneTech. Four new mods, all color-coded are added as follows:

Yellow: Wing Woman – When you deploy your super-villain an assassin thug spawns and guards the super-villain.

Orange: Hold Ground – Sentries, Bodyguards, Slumlords stay in position instead of chasing.
Bane's Lair: Personal Guard – Bane has an extra Bodyguard in the Control Room.

Red: Reinforcements: Punks – A group of punks will spawn to help you when you've taken heavy losses.
Pain Tolerance- Breakers now ignore New Order Commands and will continue breaking things on their own.

Green Respect the Boomstick – Mercenaries give bonus respect for each unit defeated.

Bane is also dropping with quite a number of changes for Tactics, Security items, AI, PvP, WayneTech and other UI and art aspects, so make sure to visit the game to get acquainted with all of these.
