Today, #MHA363 continued to trend. Along with this, #MHASpoilers and Bakugo have also trended during the day, with the Bakugo tag reaching around 20K tweets at its peak.

So, why did Bakugo trend? In case you need a refresher, that’s because the events of Chapter 362 saw Bakugo apparently dying at the hands of the All-for-One-controlled Tomura Shigaraki.
Given that Bakugo is among My Hero Academia’s most popular characters, his seeming death sent shockwaves throughout the fanbase.
While the next chapter isn’t officially out yet, info about the chapter has leaked online, driving fans on Twitter into a frenzy over the past 24 hours.
If the leaks turn out to be true, it seems that Bakugo really has died as it was declared that he had no pulse.
Deaths in shonen manga can be deceiving though. After all, there are lots of series where character deaths are reversed due to some power.
For My Hero Academia, there are theories online about how the death of Bakugo can be reversed by Eri, a girl with the Rewind Quirk that lets her reverse a living being’s body to a previous state.
Both the events of Chapter 362 and the leaks do suggest that Bakugo’s death is definitive. Though it’s still not 100% clear, prompting fans to discuss fervently online the status of their favorite character.
To find out if he is truly alive, fans will have to wait for the next chapter’s official release, or possibly wait longer depending on how the story progresses.
