Baby Yoda May Be Tempted by the Dark Side in Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2

Star Wars fans were pretty devastated when word came out that the organizers of Star Wars Celebration decided to cancel the event in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only was Celebration supposed to bring together the Star Wars fandom as Lucasfilm moves away from the Skywalker Saga, but many were hoping that the event would bring with it new information about upcoming Star Wars projects, including the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

While Lucasfilm has been trying its best to keep the plot details of Jon Favreau's hit Star Wars series under wraps, there have been numerous leaks circulating around online such as the supposed appearance of Ahsoka Tano and the supposed assistance of Boba Fett in saving Baby Yoda.

Now, another Mandalorian report has started making the rounds online, and this time the report suggests that Baby Yoda is going to be seen struggling with the Dark Side.

According to We Got This Covered, there's a theory circulating saying that Baby Yoda may be seen struggling with the power of the Dark Side in the second season of The Mandalorian. While the idea of a Dark Side Child seems rather unlikely considering how young Baby Yoda is, fans shouldn't forget that the Child had a look of malice when he Force-choked Cara Dune while she was arm-wrestling Mando. Perhaps we'll get to see Baby Yoda struggle in choosing between the Dark Side and the Light Side in the third or fourth season of The Mandalorian. Let's cross our fingers and wait and see.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian season 1 is available for streaming on Disney+.
