Ewan McGregor Thinks He has the Perfect Title for the Obi-Wan Series

The Obi-Wan series for Disney+ has been in development for a while, and it's seen some major overhauls from being an anthology film to being reworked as a miniseries. Despite the length of development, the show still doesn't have an official title; but star Ewan McGregor has an idea on what it should be called.

Talking to ACE Universe, McGregor shares that the series is still untitled, but some fans have already thought up the perfect title. He says:

"There's some great fan ideas for it. I don't know if you've seen some of the fanart, but there's an amazing poster where they've named it ‘Hello There'—that's the name of the movie, ‘Hello There: The Obi-Wan Kenobi Story' or whatever. That would be fun. That would get my vote."

Just in case you haven't been online for the past few days, the line, "Hello there" from Revenge of the Sith has become one of the most widespread memes from the film. Even Star Wars Battlefront II knew they had to add that emote to the game.

Also, he doesn't say which piece of fanart he was referring to, but some guess it could be this one:

Though McGregor thinks it's a fun title, I'm pretty sure it's too flimsy to be an official name of the show. Like the interview Angelique Roche suggests, it very much sounds like the title of a musical. Personally, I think Kenobi: A Star Wars Story would work, but since it's a series, it could just be Obi-Wan Kenobi or Kenobi.

Hopefully, we get an announcement before the year ends. For now, we wait for the release of The Mandalorian Season 2 on Disney+ this coming October.
