Bound to have the first spinoff of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Baby Groot surely knows how to relax and enjoy as he makes everyone smile with his presence. In a new photo released for I Am Groot, the fan-favorite tiny tree gets his day at the spa and he's just incredibly adorable!
As tiny as Baby Groot, he will be having five bite-sized episodes in his very own mini-series, I Am Groot directed by Kirsten Lepore where everyone's favorite little tree goes on his own misadventures with his gentle and adorable façade and mischievous stints with a hint of hunger for destruction.
In a photo released by Empire in their House of the Dragon Issue, Baby Groot takes a relaxing dip and enjoys his spa day, feeling himself while submerged in some colorful puddle somewhere in a forest. Kirsten Lepore also has some words to share about the show in the same article.
Lepore shared to Empire, “As much as it’s still Groot and he’s still cute, he’s also a little bad baby who’s very mischievous.”

Lepore added that the show will be on the humourous side of Marvel, “There aren’t a lot of comedy shows on the Marvel animation roster, so even though they are shorts, we really got to play up how funny they are.”
I Am Groot will follow the adventures of Baby Groot who grows up in the galaxy with journeys along the way, giving him a chance to meet new and unusual faces throughout the years but trouble always finds a way. He will be seeing new friends, too.
I Am Groot is produced by Marvel Studios. Vin Diesel will return as the voice of Baby Groot with his iconic line, "I am groot." I Am Groot is set to form part of the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, it remains to be a question on whether it would be a canon series since James Gunn suggests otherwise when asked online.
