There is little doubt that Avengers: Infinity War had several memorable scenes like the all-girl fight between Okoye, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, and Proxima Midnight. However, fans still couldn't stop talking about how Captain America and Black Panther easily outran everybody else in the Battle of Wakanda. So was it all just movie magic or did Chris Evans simply run faster than the other warriors? The truth has finally been revealed in an awesome behind-the-scenes video.
The video was shared on Reddit and confirms that Steve Rogers got a little help from a rig. In the Infinity War BTS look, Evans' stunt double is shown being rigged up so he could race past the Dora Milaje. Click here to watch the video.
The scene where T'Challa and Captain America outruns everybody else has also led to theories about a possible connection between the Super Soldier Serum and the Heart-Shaped Herb. One theory purports that Abraham Erskine was only able to perfect his serum after meeting Howard Stark, one of the few people who has access to vibranium. Tony Stark's father might also know about the effects of the herb and shared it with Erskine, who then used it for his serum.
Whether it's true or not, the effects of the serum and the herb were on full display in Infinity War. Hopefully, it will continue to work wonders for Captain America in Avengers: Endgame.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
