The heroes are preparing for an epic rematch with Thanos in Avengers: Endgame. But for Nebula, it could be all about fulfilling her lifelong dream. Karen Gillan has just teased on how her character will ultimately defeat the Mad Titan and it's an awesome throwback to one of the best scenes in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Gillan recently shared the Endgame international poster. However, it was the caption that has people talking. Take a look at her post below.
"As a child, my father would have Gamora and me battle one another in training. Every time my sister prevailed, my father would replace a piece of me with machinery, claiming he wanted me to be her equal. But she won, again and again and again, never once refraining. So after I murder my sister, I will buy a warship with every conceivable instrument of death. I will hunt my father like a dog and I will tear him apart slowly, piece by piece, until he knows some semblance of the profound and unceasing pain I knew every single day," Gillan wrote, adding the hashtags #nebula, #avengersendgame, and #chineseposter.
If that sounds familiar, it's Nebula's lengthy answer to Kraglin asking what she plans to do with her share after capturing Rocket and Yondu Udonta in GOTG V2.
Although we love Kraglin's comment on that, it also sounds like Nebula is determined to torture her adoptive father. Will she manage to do it in Endgame? The truth could finally be revealed this April.
The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:
"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
