Avengers: Infinity War’s Reported Budget is Insane

Everyone knows that Avengers: Infinity War is pretty much housing an insane production and cast. The ensemble movie is the culmination of the 10 years that Marvel has been building with its solo and smaller team movies.

So it's not surprising that Avengers: Infinity War will have a budget that's pretty sizable. Before now, however, no one really knew just how much this will actually cost.

Now we have a little more information care of Chick-fil-A CEO and co-owner of Pinewood Atlanta Studios Dan Cathy on just how much. His statement to BizJournals is still very vague, but it's hard to not pinpoint what that movie really is.

"We now have on the lot down there now the largest film production ever with a $1 billion budget."

The actual movie can't be named thanks to agreements with the studio, but it's no secret that Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel are already filming at Pinewood. That amount is higher than Avatar's $425 million and even Star Wars: The Force Awakens $300 million. To date, it is Marvel's biggest movie, with the biggest cast of heroes and apparently, the biggest budget so far.

Pinewood has already been the go-to shooting ground for Marvel's movies, including Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, and Captain America: Civil War.

Avengers: Infinity War will be out in theaters next year.
