Vision and the Scarlet Witch have famously been a couple in the comics, and we've been getting some hints at a romance since Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War. The two will be returning for Avengers: Infinity War, and it looks like a full-blown romance is going to be explored this time around.
In an interview with We Got This Covered, Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen explains:
"In any other world I would say, ‘I don't know,'…but because there are paparazzi photos that kind of spoil things for fans, I think it's safe to say that we now get to explore that part of the comic book. We get to introduce and really explore their relationship. It creates a really exciting arc for me and I'm so lucky I get to work with Bettany all the time now."
With Thanos needing the Mind Stone for his gauntlet, a lot of fans are pretty sure that we're going to see Vision die in Infinity War. I think it would be too early to actually have Vision die in the MCU, but then again, there's no way that Marvel isn't going to make us see the Infinity Gauntlet in full power. Plus, someone can always take the Mind Stone and put it back in Vision's head after the whole debacle.
Scarlet Witch seems to be pretty unlucky when it comes to people who get close to her. Besides Quicksilver dying in Age of Ultron, there's a huge chance that her love interest is also going to die in the movie where they get together.
Let's hope things turn up soon for Wanda Maximoff.
