Avengers: Infinity War Theory Explains How Professor Hulk Will Appear In Endgame

There's a lot of things to look forward to in Avengers: Endgame, like finding out how Tony Stark manages to get back to Earth and what the survivors will do to ultimately defeat Thanos. But will we also learn how Bruce Banner and the Hulk eventually settled their differences to become Professor Hulk? A new Marvel theory suggests that we already saw that happen in Avengers: Infinity War.

One of the strangest things that happened in InfinityWar was the Hulk resisting to manifest no matter what Banner said or did. Some believed that the Big Green Guy was actually terrified of Thanos or simply unwilling to join the fight once again. In the end, Banner had to get into the action himself in the Battle of Wakanda. But is it possible that Banner won't be the same after Thanos snapped his fingers? A theory posted on Reddit says the Hulk might have been one of the victims of the Snappening.

In the final moments of Infinity War, the survivors are shown gathered around Vision. Although Banner initially looks alert, he suddenly drops his head. The theory suggests that Banner isn't mourning for Vision but is actually unconscious because his Hulk side has been snapped away.

It's an interesting theory that would explain how Banner becomes Professor Hulk. Without the Hulk, he could still turn but keep his Banner personality to control the body. This could explain why Professor Hulk actually comes to be in Endgame. However, this is still just a theory so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos' actions and restore order to the universe."

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
