Avengers: Infinity War Is Heading To Netflix On Christmas

Marvel fans are in for a treat this Christmas. Netflix is adding a new film to its roster of offerings during the Christmas season, and it that film is none other than Avengers: Infinity War, the biggest Marvel movie event of the year.

Posting on its official Twitter account, Netflix just recently shared a GIF of Thanos emerging from the darkness and with it the company's plans to bring in Infinity War to its website on Christmas morning next month. While we're pretty sure that most Marvel fans already have their own copy of Infinity War's home release sitting somewhere on their shelves, fans with Netflix subscriptions would definitely be happy to know that Marvel's biggest film of the year is making its way to the streaming site on one of the most important days of 2018: Christmas.

Pop culture fans are also going to appreciate the treat knowing that none of the major December films like Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, Aquaman, and Mary Poppins Returns, have been scheduled exactly on December 25. Doctor Who's traditional Christmas Special has also been replaced with a special episode for New Year's Day – so December 25's pretty empty. Now, with Infinity War on the way, families can kick back and enjoy the holiday season together with the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy as they try their best to keep Thanos from turning half o f the universe's living population into dust. Marvel fans ought to get ready for their Christmas viewing party!

Infinity War's sequel, Avengers 4, premieres May 3, 2019.
