Avengers: Infinity War showed us the death of several heroes onscreen, but one big question that fans have is which characters survived offscreen. Talking to the Huffington Post, Joe and Anthony Russ confirm the fates of several side characters that we didn't get to see in the film.

Alive:Howard the Duck, Aunt May, and Nakia (probably)

Dead:Actor Loki (Matt Damon), Betty Ross, Lady Sif

Too Spoiler-y:Jane Foster, Korg and Miek, Shuri, and Ned Leeds

Though I think ‘Dead' just means we won't see them in the film, I think the characters tagged with a spoiler warning will definitely have some part to play in Avengers 4. What's interesting is, Jane Foster's fate is considered a spoiler, and Natalie Portman has been very vocal about being "done" with the MCU since Thor: The Dark World.

With the Red Skull and ‘Thunderbolt' Ross being able to come back to the MCU, I would be amazed if they were able to bring back some older characters from Phase One. Whatever happened to The Leader from The Incredible Hulk? You think the Warriors Three will ever make a comeback?

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet -- the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently out in theaters.
