Avengers: Infinity War Concept Art Features Hilarious Iron Man/Doctor Strange Scene

There is little doubt that Tony Stark and Stephen Strange weren't exactly the best of friends when they met in Avengers: Infinity War. However, it looks like their clashing personalities almost led to a hilarious scene that ended up being deleted from the film. Luckily, we can get a glimpse of what could have been in some Infinity War concept art feature Iron Man and Doctor Strange.

The concept art was posted on Instagram by artist John Staub who had worked on the third Avengers film. Staub also shared some interesting details about the scene he illustrated. Make sure to swipe through the post to see all images.

"Scene from the #infinitywar film that was cut. #Ironman aboard the ship #drstrange is captured on. While searching for him Dr. Strange astral projects to him bugging him why it's taking him so long to find him, among other playful banter. Iron Man's suit was damaged so he couldn't fly around at this point. This was a fun piece to do imagining the snappy dialogue between the two characters. Thanks for looking! Hope you guys are staying safe," Staub wrote.

That would have been a hilarious scene that involves one of Doctor Strange's cool abilities as well as an increasingly frustrated Iron Man. However, it also doesn't offer too much in the film's narrative so it makes sense that it had to be cut.

Although Tony and Stephen weren't the greatest friends, they also turned out to be the two people who found a way to defeat Thanos. With that in mind, we're happy that these two got a certain amount of screentime together.
