Avengers: Endgame Theory Suggests The Key To Winning Is In Thanos’ Opening Line In Infinity War

Avengers: Endgame is making its way to cinemas this year and fans are eager to learn whatever they can about the final chapter in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie. Will Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Tony Stark), and the rest of the Avengers make it out of Endgame alive? Will the team be able to defeat Thanos and undo the Mad Titan's massacre?

Fans have been posting a number of theories speculating what's to come in the upcoming Marvel movie and one of the most controversial theories that's been making the rounds online suggests that the key might actually be in Thanos' first line in Avengers: Infinity War.

According to Marvel fan and Reddit user Chihdo, the Avengers success in Endgame might actually lie in the Mad Titan's opening line in Infinity War. A megalomaniac, Thanos tells the Avengers that it's pointless to run from fate, and Endgame just might actually need that same kind of advice. There's only one direction that the Avengers can take in the film, and the success of the team relies on whether or not the group chooses to live with their destiny or whether they decide to run from it.

Grounding itself on Thanos' opening line, the theory suggests that heroes that didn't run from their fate in Infinity War are going to be the ones who'll defeat Thanos in Endgame. The only question now is whether these heroes will live to tell the tale or whether they'll sacrifice their lives to bring everyone back from the dead.

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
