There is little doubt that Tony Stark's fate is one of the most depressing things about the Avengers: Endgame trailer. However, a new theory suggests that Iron Man might actually have the tools to make it back home, thanks to Rocket Raccoon.
The fan theory was posted on Reddit where they ask whether Tony might be able to find Rocket's handy tool on the Benatar. After all, Rocket had previously used it to fix the damages on the Milano in Guardians of the Galaxy. In addition to that, director James Gunn has explained how the repair tool works.
What if Tony just finds one of these in a drawer or something?

So what are the chances that the repair tool is still on board the Benatar? It's pretty slim since Gunn had mentioned it is an expensive tool that Rocket probably wouldn't part with so easily. However, considering his excitement to join Thor on the search for Nidavellir in Avengers: Infinity War, it's still possible that Rocket left it behind. Let's just hope that Tony actually finds it and figures out how to use the tool to fix the ship and get home safely.
Although it is still unclear how Tony would actually make it home, a recent ad for Audi may have confirmed that he will be back on Earth in Endgame. In the commercial, Robert Downey Jr. somehow admits that he drove the new Audi car in the fourth Avengers film. It's an interesting slip that was a relief for fans who were worried about Iron Man.
Find out how Tony makes it back to Earth when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2018.
