Robert Downey Jr. Possibly Confirms Tony Stark Will Return To Earth In Avengers: Endgame

It looks like fans shouldn't be too worried about Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame after all. Robert Downey Jr. may have confirmed that Iron Man will be back on Earth in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.

Downey recently took part in the new promo for the Audi e-Tron GT concept which features the Avengers: Infinity War actor reminiscing about how Audi has been a part of Iron Man from the start. After all, Tony Stark drove an Audi in the 2008 film. Interestingly, Tony might be going back to his roots in Endgame.

At the 3:21 mark of the video, Downey finally gets to see the amazing new car. However, Audi Head of Design Marc Lichte teases that this isn't the first time that Downey had actually driven the e-Tron GT. "Well, as Tony Stark in Avengers 4," the actor confirmed before quickly promoting the movie and changing the subject.

It's an interesting detail about Endgame. Unless there's a car floating around in space close to the Benatar, this could confirm that Tony actually makes it back to Earth and drives the new Audi. However, it's also possible that the scene might be a flashback to happier times. Nevertheless, we're hoping that Tony will be back home in no time.

Tony's situation has been a great concern for Marvel fans, who have tried contacting NASA to save the Avenger after seeing the Endgame trailer. Luckily, it looks like NASA or Elon Musk don't need to send a ship out to find Iron Man.

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
