Tom Holland might have been able to keep his mouth shut the past few months while fans have been dying for Avengers: Endgame spoilers, but it looks like the Marvel star has finally decided to drop what seems to be a cryptic tease on social media.
Taking to Twitter early this morning, Holland posted the phrase "Monday morning..." without any context. Marvel fans were baffled by the post. What was up with Holland? What did he mean by Monday morning? Would there be a new trailer on its way?
Check out the tweet down here:
Though Holland hasn't followed-up on his tweet, some fans have begun to speculate the possibility that the Spider-Man: Homecoming star might actually be referring to a new trailer for his upcoming film, Spider-Man: Far From Home. The film is getting released this July, and now that Avengers: Endgame has its first full trailer, why not one for Far From Home?
Besides, the second trailer for Homecoming arrived around late March last, last year too, so if Marvel were following the same time frame, then March 25 would be a great date for a Far From Home trailer drop.
Aside from a trailer, fans are also wondering whether Holland is talking about Endgame. Could Marvel be planning on releasing anything for the film? It doesn't seem too likely – Holland isn't going to play a large role in the film. Peter Parker was turned into dust in Infinity War, remember?
Far From Home is our best guess, though we'll have to wait for Monday to see.
Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
