Avengers: Endgame Fan Theory Suggests The Appearance Of Lady Death Is The Film’s ‘Greater Threat’

Thanos might be the biggest bad in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie, but some Marvel fans believe that Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the rest of the Avengers are going to face an even bigger threat in Avengers: Endgame. While the character has yet to be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a new theory has started claiming that Lady Death just might knock on the door of the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War.

Before the release of Thor: Ragnarok, theories came flooding in saying that Hela (Cate Blanchett) would be revealed as Lady Death, the cosmic entity that Thanos tries to woo in the comics. Serving Lady Death, Thanos goes on his mission to kill half the living population to impress his woman.

However, seeing Hela defeated at the end of Ragnarok, fans soon let go of the idea of Hela as Lady Death. Now, they've moved on to the possibility that Lady Death might actually be Hela's mother.

Posting on Reddit, Reinheart123 tries to suggest that Lady Death might appear as the true villain of Avengers: Endgame, suggesting that Katherine Langford whose casting has been kept secret up to now might actually be playing the character in the film.

Unfortunately, while the Marvel fan wants to believe that Lady Death will be revealed as Hela's mother in Endgame, Langford might be a bit too young for the part.

Not only that, but the idea of Lady Death appearing in Endgame might actually seem a bit too much. If Marvel had plans of bringing Lady Death to the MCU, wouldn't they tease the character in earlier films?

What do you think of this new fan theory? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below. Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
