Avengers: Endgame Deleted Scene Confirms Gamora Survived Tony Stark's Snap

One of the biggest mysteries in Avengers: Endgame would have to be the fate of Gamora, who somehow disappeared after Tony Stark got the Infinity Stones and snapped Thanos away from existence. So was Gamora also erased when this happened? The new deleted scene from the film confirms that Zoe Saldana's character is still very much alive.

The deleted scene was shared by USA Today and it reveals what happened directly after Tony passed away. Check it out below.

As it turns out, Gamora was the only character who didn't get down on their knee to pay tribute to Tony. Instead, she quietly slipped away as everyone, including Star-Lord, paid respect to their fallen ally.

This should explain why Peter Quill was busy trying to find Gamora in one scene in Endgame. Although some people were concerned that Peter's search would be in vain, it could actually mean that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be all about finding out where Gamora went after the final battle.

We already know that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is happening although it isn't part of Marvel's Phase Four that was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. After all, James Gunn will need to work on The Suicide Squad before the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. Nevertheless, it's good to know that Gamora could be joining the team again sometime in the future.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the film is expected to begin production soon after work on The Suicide Squad is completed.
