Avengers: Endgame Could Feature Emotional Captain America/Iron Man Reunion

We already know that Avengers: Endgame is set to be the last movie featuring Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. as Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. So what are the chances that Captain America and Iron Man will see each other before the end? A new theory, as well as a leaked photo, suggests that we should expect an emotional reunion between the two Marvel heavyweights.

The fan theory posted on Reddit points out that Steve has a long history of trading his own life to ensure everybody's safety. However, his final sacrifice in Endgame could be a move to save someone we have yet to meet: Tony's unborn child. The idea is that Captain America will sacrifice himself in order to keep Thanos from killing Pepper Potts, who will pregnant with Tony's baby.

Interestingly, the theory points out that both Evans and Downey's contract will end with the fourth Avengers movie so the two characters need to be written out. In this case, it is suggested that Steve will die and Tony will retire so he can live a normal life with his family.

But is it possible that Captain America and Iron Man will at least get a reunion before they part ways for good? A leaked image from Endgame shows Evans standing beside a car as Downey appears to exit the vehicle. The photo lines up with a previously leaked picture that also features Paul Rudd's Antman.
