Avengers 5 Team Lineup Currently Being Planned by Marvel

There is little doubt that fans are still expecting Avengers 5 that will introduce a whole new team that will protect the world. But who will be the new characters who will play a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Kevin Feige revealed that Marvel Studios is currently considering the next lineup.

The last Avengers movie concluded with the death of Tony Stark and the possible dissolution of the team. After all, Steve Rogers decided to stay in the past, Thor chose to go on an adventure with the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Natasha Romanoff was deceased.

This might seem like proof that the Avengers are no more but Feige has confirmed that there will be another movie and a whole new team in MCU's Phase 4.

The Marvel boss recently spoke to CinemaBlend where he was asked whether the Avengers are done. Interestingly, Feige stated that the question will be addressed in the MCU soon.

"I think post-Endgame and with Tony being off the board and Steve Rogers being off the board -- Sam Wilson is a new Cap, of course. But what does it mean to be an Avenger? And is there a core team? And who's leading it, and who's financing it?" Feige said. He then pointed out that the Avengers and its future lineup will play a major role in the MCU.

"That is very much an undercurrent that will, while not at the forefront of many of the current movies, is certainly a question that is lingering in the background," Feige said.

It's great to know that we'll be seeing the new Avengers in the future. However, there haven't been any solid updates on Avengers 5 and when it is happening. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
