For now, Marvel Studios is keeping the hype up for the release of Captain Marvel next year, but everyone is still waiting for the conclusion to Infinity War with the release of Avengers 4. Some new images have leaked out online, and they give us a look at Steve Rogers once again in his Captain America gear.
You'll notice that the outfit here has scales, and this is actually the first time that we see it implemented in an MCU film. Cap has had several outfits with scales in the comics, and I think it would be cool if they actually brought it to the big screen.
Of course, it's possible that these images aren't final, and Cap could be wearing something totally different in A4. Then again, this is said to be Chris Evans' final MCU movie, and I think it would be cool if they at least tried the scales for one iteration of the costume. How's it possible we get the terrible outfit in the first Avengers, but not one scale-outfit?
With Infinity War, Steve Rogers had dropped the Captain America mantle, but we may see him return to it next year with the next movie. After all, he did leave the shield with Stark, and no doubt everyone is going to come together seeing that only so few of them are left alive.
It's going to be painful to see some Avengers go, but hopefully, Marvel Studios has some great characters in line for Phase 4.
