It's no secret that Mark Ruffalo is the spoiler king of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Thor: Ragnarok star may have struck again as he teases major Avengers 4 spoilers will be dropped later tonight.
Ruffalo has just revealed that he will be a guest on Friday night's episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The Avengers: Infinity War actor had filmed the episode earlier today but clearly regretted sharing a little too much with the host. Check out his tweet below.
Ruffalo wrote, "@JimmyFallon, I trust that you will cut my spoiler slip on the show tonight. That was 'off the record' homey. Please don't get me in trouble with Marvel (Barry) again. DM me back. M." Although it was unclear what the actor revealed, there is a huge possibility that it has something to do with Avengers 4.
So what exactly did Ruffalo slip up this time? There are speculations that it might have something to do with the Avengers 4 title. The MCU star may have also shared the fate of Bruce Banner or the other characters in the sequel. Did he confirm how the Infinity War victims will be brought back? We'll have to hope that Fallon isn't listening to Ruffalo and will air the spoilers on the Tonight Show later.
Fans believe they are getting quite close to figuring out the Avengers 4 title after Joe and Anthony Russo shared a mysterious "Look hard" photo. There are rumors that the sequel will be called Avengers: Annihilation based on the picture seemingly featuring two A's. The theory also makes sense considering that the Avengers movies have been named after popular comic book titles. Annihilation is the title of a 2006 comic book storyline that also featured Thanos and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Avengers 4 is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
