Avatar: The Last Airbender Netflix Series Reportedly Has a Massive Cast

We all have high expectations of the Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series considering all the hype surrounding the Netflix show. So it's no surprise that even the little details confirm that production is going all out on the series. It has just been revealed that the adaptation of the beloved animated show will boast a massive cast!

The update comes from costume designer Farnaz Khaki-Sadigh who is working on the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. Khaki-Sadigh posted an unassuming photo on their Instagram account which showed their master binders for the show. Interestingly, the caption confirms the sheer number of cast members working on the series.

"My Master Binders: 1 year, 4 blocks, 130+ cast (not including stunts and BG), a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears and a whole lot more fun … I have loved every second of it," the caption read. "Thankful for all the memories and all that I learnt along the way."

That's right, the first season will feature a cast of more than 130 actors and that's not yet including the stunts team. Needless to say, it looks like the show is going big and we can't wait to see what the production team is working on right now.

So far, it looks like the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender is slowly growing. It was previously reported that Prey star Amber Midthunder has been chosen to play Princess Yue in the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series. However, Midthunder's casting has not yet been officially announced by Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is currently in production and has not yet been given an official release date. However, there are speculations that the show will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2023.
