Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the 59-year-old actress talked about getting involved in the highly-anticipated sequel and teased her future appearance in other Avatar sequels (There are plans for up to five Avatar films).

"So, yes, I am in the Avatar sequels and as you know we can't really talk very much about it," Yeoh told EW. "But it's James Cameron! Come on! I would be the tea lady for James Cameron! We shot for a few weeks, and I was so impressed with the work that he's done, the work that he's doing, the energy. He's a genius, he's a walking genius. And I really really enjoyed the experience and I can't wait to go back soon, I hope."

Avatar 3 already started production simultaneously with Avatar 2 on August 15, 2017, and the two additional sequels are intended to start filming as soon as the first two sequels complete post-production and are expected to release on December 18, 2026, and December 22, 2028, respectively.Based on what Yeoh said, it's likely that her character could return if the fourth and fifth Avatar films get confirmed by Disney. Cameron already shot footage for Avatar 4, so there's a good chance that Yeoh will return to play her character.
