The group talks about their possible options. While discussing, Onyakopon tells them that they need Kiyomi and the engineers to operate the flying boat.
Magath has a change in attitude and apologizes to everyone. He asks Armin and the others to look the other way until everything is over, but Armin refuses to just stand watch with clean hands.
Armin and Connie head for Floch and the Jaegerists, telling them that the Cart Titan and the other Marleyans have escaped. They tell him they need the flying boat to chase after them. However, when Armin and Connie get to the flying boat, Daz and Samuel are guarding it, and the boat is covered in explosives.
Armin and Connie convince Daz to remove the bombs. However, Floch realizes Armin is lying and attempts to kill Kiyomi. Mikasa, Jean, Magath, and Hange enter the building to protect Kiyomi and the engineers.
Reiner and Annie turn into Titans and attack the Jaegerists surrounding the port. Back at the dock, Armin and Connie try to talk to Daz and Samuel. As they try to stop them from setting up the detonator again, Samuel shoots Armin.
Connie wrestles with Samuel over the gun while Daz fixes the detonator. Armin jumps over Daz to stop him, but Daz points his weapon at Armin. Connie eventually gets the gun from Samuel and shoots both Samuel and Daz.
