A lot has happened in Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 but for most fans, it would be the return of Annie Leonhart after being absent for a long time. After all, Annie was in hibernation for four years before Eren Yeager decided to tear down the Walls and start the Rumbling, effectively awakening the slumbering Titans. Since then, Annie has been in action in an effort to save her father from the Rumbling. However, her best moment is the one where she isn't actually fighting anyone!
The new Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 clip was dropped by Funimation ahead of Episode 83's English dub premiere. The video features Armin Arlert and Connie Springer coming across Annie in the most unusual way. Check it out below.
It's a truly unexpected meeting considering that they have different goals in mind. Still, fans are happy to see Annie in a lighthearted way since she is usually depicted as serious and single-minded. In addition to that, it's great to hear Connie laughing again after a long time.
While the English dub is still in the middle of The Final Season Part 2, the anime is already set to conclude next week. The last episode of Season 4 Part 2 was initially expected to premiere on the last Monday of March but has been pushed back due to a special program being aired on NHK General TV. Still, fans can expect the season finale to be an hour-long event to truly watch out for.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 28 is titled The Dawn of Humanity ("Jinrui no Yoake") and is named after the manga's Chapter 130. Episode 87 will premiere on Monday, April 4, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
