As Attack on Titan paces the story in building up a massive ending for the beloved anime show, Season 4 Episode 85 drops its official synopsis which reveals that there is an alliance brewing between characters that have been in the fight since the start but with the title of the episode, Traitor, a looming betrayal is in the horizon.
From the official website of Attack on Titan, as shared by @AttackOnFans, the official synopsis of Season 4 Episode 85 titled “Traitor” is as follows:
"To save the world, Eren must be stopped. Those who decide to do so are confronted by their former comrades. They fight with the desire to not let anyone else die."
While the synopsis does not include so much information, it concludes that Eren’s plan is on its way to destroy the world and that the only way to save everyone from destruction would be to stop him. Former comrades are finally coming together with one goal: stop Eren, and they are doing everything in their power to fight for the people’s survival.
In Episode 84, Mikasa already realized the said fact and Levi is on his way to gather his troops. Marley and Paradis went to track down where Eren is as he takes the Rumbling to a different place to destroy what remains of humanity. Reiner and Annie are with the Survey Corps once more and everyone is just doing everything they can as their survival is on the line.

Episode 85 of Attack on Titan also has a promo where an unlikely alliance comes together as they try to combat the huge force to be able to save the world from destruction: Marley’s army, Eldian scouts, and the Yeagerist side are all on one side as they see how destructive Eren’s plan would be.
