Fans weren’t the only ones who cried after Attack on Titan’s emotional finale. Even Mikasa VA Yui Ishikawa was moved to tears following the final Attack on Titan voice recording session.

A clip of Ishikawa crying during the last recording session has gotten a lot of attention on X (formerly Twitter). This clip in question was taken from a recent behind-the-scenes broadcast in the leadup to the finale.

Even before this clip got fans’ attention, the show’s cast already bid goodbye to fans via their personal X accounts.

Attack on Titan is a beloved anime with lots of fans from all over the world. Because of this, the show’s finale dominated discussions over the weekend.

Despite the manga’s controversial ending, The Final Season Part 4 was mostly well-received. Looking at social media sites like X, the negative comments are mainly about how fans are sad that the series is finally over.

Given that it has been ten years since it began, Attack on Titan has become a huge part of the lives of both fans and its cast. Thus, the show’s main VAs shared messages with fans thanking them for their support over the years.

For starters, Mikasa VA Yui Ishikawa thanked fans, saying that she’s happy to have been able to play Mikasa for the past decade. She also dedicated her post to her co-stars, Yuki Kaji (Eren) and Marina Inoue (Armin).

Inoue also shared a post on X that also featured the anime’s main trio. It might be a shorter message, but it still had a lot of heart, not to mention that it got over 100k likes.

Mikasa VA Yui Ishikawa Moved to Tears During the Final Recording Session

Among the three VAs, it seems that Ishikawa has been moved the most by the finale. This makes sense considering the finale’s events involving Mikasa.

In a recent broadcast that showed behind-the-scenes footage, Ishikawa was shown being moved to tears following the recording of her final lines.

Shortly after, Inoue and Kaji are shown embracing and comforting her in a lovely gesture that also moved fans.

This clip got lots of attention from fans, with many getting teary-eyed as well given the emotion that the cast showed.

The series may be over, but the Attack on Titan official afterparty is still ongoing. This party promises to lift fans' spirits and celebrate the anime’s decade-long run.
