Attack on Titan is Preparing for its Final Arc, Which Will Probably Have Plenty of Gore

Though it might have lost some steam over the years, Attack on Titan continues to be one of the hottest manga/anime around. Many still see it as a gripping narrative with engrossing characters and some of the weirdest enemies around, hence the excitement for future anime seasons. That being said, all good things come to an end and it looks like the series will be entering its final arc soon.

According to MBS (via Anime News Network), a documentary called Jonetsu Tairiku confirmed that Hajime Isayama is working on the series' final arc, which can briefly be seen in the video below. This is going to be very emotional for fans of the series but it's always good to end on a high note than keep on drifting while the quality shifts.

I mean, did anyone really want a long-running Boruto manga? Come on, guys.

Even with My Hero Academia being the hottest anime around these days, a lot of people still have positive things to say about Attack on Titan. The third season of the anime has been doing well, with many being thankful that it came out quicker than the second one. If only the same can be said for the One Punch Man anime but at least we're getting the second season next year.

Isayama previously stated in 2014 that he personally wanted to end the manga in about three more years. His editor Shintarō Kawakubo also said in 2014, "The serialization is slated to end in three to four years."

Attackon Titan can currently be viewed on Crunchyroll. There is a live-action movie in the works as well, this time from Hollywood.
