The preview for Episode 80 has already been revealed and it teases a huge history lesson as well as new details about the mysterious Ymir!
The Attack on Titan Episode 80 preview was shared immediately after the conclusion of this week's episode and it confirms that fans should expect to learn how the story all began. In addition to that, we could finally know some of Ymir's secrets. Check it out below.
The voiceover in the preview talks about "the story of those who opposed, fought, and moved forward." It then ponders who it was that started their story in the first place. Although it's a vague description, it pretty much confirms that we will finally learn how it all started and Ymir is the key.
One of the interesting shots in the Attack on Titan Episode 80 preview shows the fight between Frieda Reiss and Grisha Yeager as the latter aims to annihilate the Reiss family. Although this scene was teased in this week's episode, we only saw what happened before and after the massacre. Needless to say, we'll be seeing the face-off next week.
Attack on Titan Episode 79 shocked viewers as it was revealed that Eren Yeager was never brainwashed by his father. Instead, he had forced Grisha Yeager to kill the Reiss family.
Attack on Titan Episode 80 is titled From You, 2,000 Years Ago ("Nisennen-mae no Kimi kara") and is named after the manga's Chapter 122. Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 21 will premiere on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
