It has only been a day since the latest episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 but fans are already talking about next week's big episode. The preview for Episode 79 was dropped soon after the premiere of Two Brothers and it teases interesting things to look forward to. For instance, the teaser may have confirmed a major Reiss connection!
The Attack on Titan Episode 79 preview was released immediately after the conclusion of this week's episode. It opens with Zeke and Eren Yeager in what seems to be the present before we get a flashback of Eren's childhood with Armin Arlett. We then see someone closing a photobook of the Reiss family but it's the voiceover that reveals a bit more.
It is confirmed that Eren will continue to reject Zeke's plans but his older brother refuses to abandon Eren. It's then pointed out that the brothers will learn the truth.
But what truth will the brothers discover at the center of the Paths? It's set to be an explosive one related to the Reiss family and how their bloodline connects them to the Titans. Needless to say, Attack on Titan Episode 79 is going to be an insightful event.
The latest episode of The Final Season Part 2 certainly didn't disappoint fans with all the action and shocking moments as the fight continued. Although Reiner Braun tried his best to keep Eren from reaching Zeke, it was Gabi who proved to be the real gamechanger. She manages to decapitate Eren with a shot from an anti-Titan rifle but Zeke still made contact with Eren's head and sent the brothers into the Paths.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 20 is titled Memories of the Future ("Mirai no Kioku") and takes its name after Chapter 121 in the manga. Episode 79 will air on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
