Devoted followers of ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo were pleased to see the K-pop idol receiving his award onstage during the 2021 Brand of the Year Awards ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 7. The event was held in an undisclosed venue with unidentified audience members due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on the photos and videos posted online, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo opted to wear a black suit and tie with white parallel lines accent. The "Blue Flame" singer kept his signature hairdo and completed his ensemble with a black-colored face mask.

A clip posted on Twitter showed ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo hitting the red carpet with his stunning outfit. Some fans even praised the True Beauty actor for walking like he is in a fashion show.
During his acceptance speech, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo thanked everyone who voted for him and helped him get the Male Acting Idol of the Year award. The "All Night" hitmaker also expressed that he is very much honored and blessed for getting a nod from a respected award-giving body.
"I am very happy and grateful to receive this valuable award. I will do my best to become a great CEW that you can trust and deserving of the award chosen by consumers."

ASTRO Member Cha Eun Woo In Talks For New Webtoon-Based Drama Titled Dak Gang Jeong
Meanwhile, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo is said to have received an offer for an upcoming new webtoon-based drama by director Lee Byung Hyun. Soompi reported that the title of the imminent show refers to a South Korean dish of sweet and sour fried chicken.
Fantagio, which is the talent management agency of Cha Eun Woo, confirmed that the K-pop idol received an offer to star in Dak Gang Jeong. However, it clarified that nothing is set in stone as of yet.
"Director Lee Byung Hun's ‘Dak Gang Jeong' is one of the projects that [Cha Eun Woo] was offered. A decision has not been made yet."
For starters, the forthcoming Dak Gang Jeong show is based on a webtoon with director Lee Byung Hun as its director and writer. Byung Hun was the creator of other hit K-drama series such as Twenty, Extreme Job and Melo Is My Nature.
Dak Gang Jeong is said to have a total of 12 episodes. Apart from ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo, no other personalities have been named to potentially appear in the imminent K-drama series.
