On August 19, the Korea Consumer Forum (KCF) announced this year's list of winners, which was on the consumer preferences in commercial brand categories ranking from automobiles, technology, cosmetics, fashion, and many others.
The former lover of Song Hye Kyo was proclaimed the Best Actor with Youn Yeo Jung as the Best Actress. Aside from Song Joong Ki, Lee Do Hyun and Girl's Day member Hyeri were also named winners for the Best Rising Actor and Best Rising Actress awards, respectively.

Song Joong Ki's Vincenzo nabbed the Best Drama award. ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo and Cosmic Girls member Bona were chosen as the Best Male Acting Idol and Best Female Acting Idol, respectively.
BTS and Brave Girls got the Best Male K-pop Group and Best Female K-pop Group awards while TREASURE and aespa were named the Best Male Rookie Idol Group and Best Female Rookie Idol Group, respectively. Yoo Jae Suk, Jang Do Yeon Took Home Best Variety Personalities Award
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae Suk and Jang Do Yeon were, once again, the winners of the Best Male Variety Personality and Best Female Variety Personality awards. This is the second time that the two South Korean artists have dominated the said categories.
The Brand Of The Year 2021 awarding ceremony took place on Tuesday, Sept. 7, in an undisclosed venue amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was broadcasted live on the official YouTube channel of KCF.

Yoo Jae Suk received the award in person, in front of a live audience. During his acceptance speech, he said:
"I am so grateful and happy. Thank you for giving me such a honorous award. It's hard to hold an award show during this time but because of this, I am more grateful. I promise to deliver bigger joy and louder laughs to many people in the future."
Jang Do Yeon also personally received her award. In her acceptance speech, she stated:
"It's an honor to receive the award once, let alone two years in a row. Thank you so much. I will work harder to become a comedian Jang Do Yeon who can survive in the industry and receive the award for 9 consecutive years. I will do my best in any program that cast me."
Voting for the Brand Of The Year 2021 Awards took place from June 21 through July 4, 2021, on the official website of KCF, wherein Song Joong Ki, Yoo Jae Suk, and Jang Do Yeon were among the proclaimed winners.
