With a Green Lantern Corps movie in the works, fans have been speculating to see which actors should play the members of the group. A popular suggestion over the years is an Arrow star, and it looks like he's willing to take on the role.

In a recent Instagram video from the Geek House Show, actor Michael Jai White was asked by fans about which DC or Marvel character he would like to play. The actor seemingly based it on the fancasts of him over the years. "That answer would have to be from the DC universe," he said. "A character named John Stewart because that's what everyone wants me to play." You can check out the video below!

White is no stranger to comic book properties, having previously played the titular character in the Spawn movie. He also played the role of Gambol in The Dark Knight as well as Bronze Tiger in several episodes of Arrow.

Geoff Johns is currently penning the Green Lantern Corps movie, making John Stewart's live-action appearance in the near future inevitable. With White's involvement in previous comic book projects, it looks like the role may be in good hands if he's given the chance.

Though the movie is yet to have a release date, Green Lantern Corps is one of the fans' most anticipated movies. While White's comment isn't a confirmation of him playing the character, fans of the actor will be delighted to know that he's willing to play the role of John Stewart in the DCEU.
