Arnold Schwarzenegger will Reprise Dutch for the Predator: Hunting Grounds

Arnold Schwarzenegger has had quite the roster of memorable roles, and one of them is military man Dutch in 1987's Predator. Now 33 years after the release of that film, Schwarzenegger is going to come back to reprise he role for Predator: Hunting Grounds.

According to Entertainment Weekly, new DLC will be available which will allow players to play the role of Schwarzenegger's Dutch. What's more, there will be narration from Schwarzenegger detailing what Dutch has gone through since the events of the first film.

Jared Gerritzen, who had written this new story for Dutch, had this to say about the character:

"The premise of it is [Dutch] recorded these tapes since '87 after the first movie… Throughout these tapes, there are those arrows [pointing to] what he's doing, kind of like safeguards if he gets killed or captured. These tapes are gonna be used to essentially keep his story going."

Schwarzenegger himself had also posted this to mark his return:

Just like a lot of other actors, it seems that Schwarzenegger has been making a comeback with characters that made him a star in the first place. Besides playing another T-800 in Terminator Genisys, Schwarzenegger's Terminator had also appeared in Mortal Kombat 11 as a playable character; while Schwarzenegger didn't reprise the role for that game, at least they managed to bring him back for Hunting Grounds.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is now available for PS4 and PC. The Dutch DLC will be available on May 26.
