Aquatope on White Sand surprised us last week; it looks like Kukuru and Fuuka won't spend the rest of the 24-episode show missing each other. Almost all Gama Gama members are a team again, and about to conquer their new roles.

Fuuka's surprise visit lifts Kukuru's spirits, all the more so when she finds out Fuuka also got a job at Tingaara and moved into the apartment next to hers. After her time in Gama Gama, Fuuka concluded that she wants to keep working in aquariums long-term. Kukuru tries not to be jealous when Fuuka is assigned a role as an attendant.

Haebara and Kukuru clash once more, as Kukuru is tasked with organizing an open tour, which the latter isn't at all interested in. On top of that, Haebara is cold towards Fuuka and asks her to memorize the names of all 20 penguins of Gama Gama and their relationships over a very short time.

Fuuka and Kukuru work hard on their respective tasks and Kukuru manages to get some colleagues on board for a successful tour.

After Fuuka memorizes all the penguins, Haebara finally accepts her, while Marina, another attendant, offers to help Kukuru with the tour. Haebara relents, revealing her concerns were mostly about the animals.

The tour goes well, and the attendees are excited, but Kukuru's supervisor is still displeased because the event hadn't been advertised enough. Kukuru still has a long way to go, but this was a start.

Aquatope of White Sand Episode 15 is titled "The Great Sea Slug Debate" so we expect it to be a good kind of weird. The release date is going to be Friday, the 15th of October for subscribed users of Crunchyroll. Due to time zone differences, many international fans will be able to stream it from October 14 depending on where they are in the world.

A dub has not yet been announced but this could change at any point - the show deserves it.
