Aquaman 2: Patrick Wilson Teases Ocean Master's Return in DC Sequel

It will still be a long wait for Aquaman 2 but Patrick Wilson can't help but tease about Ocean Master's return in the upcoming DC Extended Universe sequel. The Conjuring star has just revealed that he has already been talking to director James Wan about Orm's possible storyline.

Wilson recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about his new film Midway as well as his future projects. Not surprisingly, Aquaman 2 came up since Wilson is known for his numerous collaborations with Wan. Interestingly, Wilson admitted that he already has some ideas on how Orm will be brought back in the sequel.

"I'm slightly briefed. Of course, I want to know everything, but I also have a great respect for him and the process to know that I'm OK staying out of it until it's late in the game," Wilson shared. "Sometimes, there's so much information that I don't ask because I don't want to know, and I don't want him to go, 'I can't tell you that yet.' I just throw a little dart here and there. I'll say, 'So, what about this?' and he'll say, 'Well, this is what I'm thinking.' But, we talk a lot."

Although Wilson is happy to tease about Orm's storyline, he isn't quite ready to share too much just yet.

"I have a few ideas of where Orm fits in, but I'm not gonna talk about them," he said.

We might not get a lot of details from Wilson just yet but it's good to know that we haven't seen the last of Orm. Hopefully, the character is set for a redemption arc where he would finally work with Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry.

Aquaman 2 is scheduled for release on December 16, 2022.
