Who Is Maomao's Voice Actor?
The talented voice actor lending her voice to Maomao is Aoi Yuuki — a favorite for many anime fans.
In The Apothecary Diaries, Yuuki does a great job with Maomao's pragmatic and irritable voice, which sets her apart from many shoujo heroines who are somewhat infantilized, with forcibly cute voices.
Yuuki has previously voiced the idiosyncratic titular character in The Saga of Tanya the Evil.
Moreover, she has voiced Madoka Kaname from the magical girl anime Puella Magi Madoka Magika, showing equal comfort with younger, more innocent voices, proving that she has quite a range!
