Apink will soon reach a new milestone nearly 10 years since their debut.
Unlike many other girl groups, Apink survived the 7-Year Curse and continues to grace the stages with their talents and visuals. The group started as a 7-piece group before Hong Yoo Kyung left in 2013 to finish her studies.
Though they lost one member, Apink proved that they could still excel as a group. In fact, they collected several awards under their belt, bringing home trophies from Golden Disc Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and Mnet Asian Music Awards, among others.
Following the release of their highly-anticipated comeback album, the members of the girl group sat for an interview and talked about their efforts while preparing Horn.

Apink: “We Dedicated Our Heart and Soul”
On Monday, Apink finally released their album Horn and gave their fans further information about it in an e-mail Q&A.
According to Namjoo, all members worked closely during the album making as they poured their heart and soul into it. She also noted that they poured a lot of time and effort throughout the process as if they were preparing for their debut.

Horn contains the title track Dilemma which was produced by Black eyed Pilseung and Jun Goon. The latter famously worked on the group’s previous hits, %% and Dumhdurum.
"Our lead single revolves around a person in a quandary, who cannot decide whether to break up or not. Listeners will find it irresistible once they hear it,” Namjoo went on, as quoted by The Korea Times.
Member Eunji and Bomi both said they want to express their gratitude toward fans who have been supporting them through the years.
Will Naeun Be Part of Apink Comeback?
Apink is currently under IST Entertainment – an agency composed of Play M, A Cube, and Plan A Entertainments. Among the six members, only Naeun would skip the promotions due to scheduling conflicts. She is the only member who did not sign under IST Entertainment, and she is currently working under YG Entertainment.
On May 3, 2021, a spokesperson for the label said that YG Entertainment signed Son Naeun to help her pursue her career as an actress, as well.
Despite that, Play M assured fans that Apink would remain a group despite Son Naeun’s decision.
“We respect Son Naeun’s decision, and we will genuinely support her new future ahead,” the actress’ former agency added. “We express our gratitude to Son Naeun, who has stayed with the company for a long time.”
