The Marvel Cinematic Universe is heading into Phase Four and will go beyond the movies by expanding stories through the small screen. While The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set within the MCU, it won't be similar to a feature.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actor Anthony Mackie details how his Disney+ show with Sebastian Stan will differ from a Marvel movie. "They're going to feel different in and of themselves," he said. "Because they're shot in a completely different way than the movies."

The actor teases what's to come as well, saying that the fans will be "surprised" by how the characters will evolve and become more in-depth as the audience spends time watching their adventures from six to eight hours through the show, instead of two hours through a film.

"When you're on a team, you play your role," Mackie added. "But with this, you really get to see who the characters are in their lives between the movies."

Mackie's comments are surely intriguing and fans can't wait to learn more about the heroes in the show. Expected to take on Captain America's mantle, fans are also excited to see what Sam Wilson has in store and to witness his relationship with Bucky, given that they don't quite get along in the previous films.
